Operations Associate
Valley National Financial Advisors is seeking a full-time Operations Associate to manage all aspects of wealth management fee billing and commissions. This position reports to the CEO and is part of a back-office operations team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle all billing functions for all fee-based accounts. Oversee all B/D/ commission functions. Create enhancements and efficiencies that make billing easier to manage moving forward.
  • Work with the AVP, Finance & Accounting to ensure all commissions and revenues are calculated and paid monthly.
  • Manage all new client onboarding RIA and B/D paperwork, in addition to all AMA maintenance.
  • Use Tamarac CRM software to back up Database Manager on reconciliation issues.
  • Work with advisory teams to build new client workflows, efficiencies, and processes to maintain proper liaison via Charles Schwab service.
  • Act as representative for business partners, including clients’ custodians and outsourced back office service provider.
  • Help manage and work with the administrative staff to organize, scan, upload/fax, and maintain all paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of operations experience (particularly for an RIA or brokerage firm)
  • Experience working with CRM software (Tamarac experience is preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of RIA compliance and asset management rules
  • Experience working with large wealth management client service platforms.
  • Charles Schwab Advisory platform experience preferred
  • SEC and FINRA licensing preferred.
