December 2014 – Valley National Financial Advisors, a full-service financial services firm, has selected Elizabeth Kostelnick to fill the newly created position of Corporate Controller.

Kostelnick comes to Valley National with more than 12 years of experience in accounting and management.

Kostelnick joins Valley National just as the group of companies prepares to celebrate 30 years in business during 2015. “Since 1985, we have remained true to our mission to help our clients achieve their long-term financial goals,” said Thomas Riddle, president and founder. “Adding a Corporate Controller to the team is another step in our ongoing growth as a firm. We are pleased to have found Elizabeth to take on this important role.”

Kostelnick graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown with a B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration. She went on to work in accounting as an auditor, manager and controller. Most recently, Kostelnick moved back to Allentown from New York where she was Assistant Controller for a successful startup company in New York City. “I am excited to be back in the Lehigh Valley and looking forward to being part of Valley National’s future,” said Kostelnick.

As Corporate Controller, Kostelnick will work closely with Chief Operating Officer / Executive Vice President, Matthew Petrozelli to manage internal accounting, budgeting and planning for Valley National’s bright future. In addition, Kostelnick will lend her expertise to the company’s tax practice. “As a company, we are proud that our financial professionals are examples of excellence both in our industry and our local community,” said Petrozelli. “Elizabeth is another valuable addition to that team.”
